Bigger Team. More Tours. Same Mission.

4theVille is proud to celebrate the graduation of its newest docent cohort, marking the completion of a six-month storyteller training program designed to preserve, uplift, and share the rich cultural history of The Ville neighborhood.

Graduating docents Brittany Raji Alberty and Tierra “Tee” Parks have officially joined the organization’s growing roster of community storytellers.

We are also excited to welcome our new Cultural Heritage Director, Marvin-Alonzo Greer, a public historian and nationally recognized interpreter who brings deep expertise in community-centered storytelling. Greer will help lead the next chapter of 4theVille’s cultural preservation and tourism work and will offer remarks during the program.

These additional docents, or “Memory Tellers” as we call them, will help us expand our tour offerings in 2026. In addition, they will serve as the exhibit guides for the new Mill Creek: Black Metropolis exhibit at the Missouri History Museum through a partnership between Missouri Historical Society and 4theVille.

Applications for the next 4theVille Docent cohort will open in Spring 2026. Follow the 4theVille Instagram for future updates.
