Thomasina believes the world should know more about the legacy of the Ville.

  • Nicole Murphy

Nicole Murphy graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a bachelor's in History and Anthropology and a minor in architecture. Her studies have cemented the importance of understanding history, culture, and the built environment when choosing to enter a place. With that in mind, she is working toward completing her Masters of Social Work at the Brown School, focusing on social and economic development with an emphasis on community-level practice. She is currently an intern at Northside Community Housing, Inc.

  • Aaron Williams

While completing his degree in Architecture at Washington University, Aaron learned of the Ville legacy. Since then, outside his role as a Construction Project Manager, he has committed his time to restore the neighborhood's honor by serving as the community liaison and teacher's assistant for a course at Washington University that spotlighted the Ville and by serving on the board of Northside Community Housing. Aaron believes that art and community engagement can reinvigorate the Ville as an urban development enthusiast and design hobbyist.
